The Personal Financial Management Concentration is well suited for individuals who are seeking employment which serves the consumer or graduate study in the managment of nonprofit groups, personal finance, real estate, insurance, consumer behavior, consumer economics or public policy. Through this diverse yet integrated course of study, students will gain specific skills and knowledge transferable to a wide variety of career options.
This concentration includes the curriculum for the Texas State University, AFCPE Registered Education Program with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).
