Mexican-origin Student Success (MoSS) Lab : School of Family and Consumer Sciences : Texas State University

Dr. Alfaro utilizes the ecological and academic resilience frameworks to better understand the processes by which environmental, cultural, and familial factors interact with one another and impact the academic outcomes of Latinx high school and college students.

This year, Dr. Alfaro’s lab students will assist with data management, data analyses, and/or disseminating research related to experiences with discrimination, relationships with parents, sibling relationships, and college students’ support networks.
