Our Services

Adolescent parents’ experiences intersect two important cross-roads, the transition into adulthood and transition into parenthood. For this reason, SR/SF aims to support pregnant and parenting adolescents in developing skills that will help them achieve their personal, relationship, and parenting goals.

Program facilitators, with support of trained college interns, provide weekly group sessions focused on coparenting and parenting, and healthy relationship within adolescents’ schools. These lessons are supplemented with student support services throughout the year. We also host an annual Summer Academy to offer additional opportunities for empowerment.

Student Services

In addition to weekly groups, our facilitators and interns provide individual case management to all enrolled adolescents. Although needs vary by campus, some of the common areas of case management our program assists with include:

•    WIC
•    Medicaid
•    College Applications
•    Job Applications
•    Academic Support

Our program uses trauma informed, culturally responsive, positive youth-oriented services aimed to empower the youth in our program. We primarily serve students in the school, during the school day. However, we work with our adolescents to identify the service delivery format that works best for them, including in-person, virtual, and after-school options. También ofrecemos servicios en español.
