Program Computer Policy

Students are encouraged to have a personal computer if it is financially feasible. Texas State provides access to a variety of computer equipment in several Computer Labs that are available for your class work.

• ID Student Computer Recommendation is a Windows PC comparable to the the Advanced workstation laptop on this page.
• Buy a personal computer using your Texas State Discount
• Download Software (Antivirus software is a must if you do not currently own any)

Notice: Adobe software is no longer free for students. A monthly subscription is required to install Adobe on a personal computer.
